How long should a title be?
About 50 to 60 characters, so Google shows it in full.
And the description?
About 120 to 160 characters.
Why pixels and not only characters?
Google cuts by width on the screen. Wide letters like W and M take more room than i or l, so a 58-character title can still be cut.
